About Allison Swiney
Hey! My name is Allison Swiney and EMIC has been my “home away from home” for (almost) my entire life. I would describe myself as an introverted-extrovert, I am pretty quiet at first, but once I get to know you then you are in for a treat. In my “spare time” I enjoy traveling to places I have never been before or getting a latte at the nearest coffee shop.
My family visited EMIC while searching for a church to call home in 1998. After walking in the front doors and attending a single service, they knew that Eagle Mountain International Church was going to be our home church. They immediately got plugged into the vision of the church and we are still dedicated to that vison today! I am so blessed to have grown up at EMIC surrounded by faith and community. Growing up in Superbabies, Superkids, 14forty, and The Bridge under the mentorship of Pastors George and Terri, Brother and Sister Copeland, Cmdr. Kellie Copeland, and so many more, is an extreme blessing that I hope to never take for granted.
As a little girl I was often called a “little leader”, which at the time probably meant I was being bossy. However, as I have grown I found out that being a leader doesn’t mean that you are in charge at all. A leader is someone who encourages and inspires other to do and be the best they can be, and that’s something I aspire to be every day. I am so thankful that I am able to use my organizational and administrative gifts and talents in my current role as Administrative Assistant to the Director of Church Operations. I am honored to be a part of the staff family, under the leadership of Pastors George and Terri, at the Revival Capital of the World!
