September Theme: Phone a Friend!
It’s always nice to phone a friend and have a good talk! Sometimes we even need to phone a friend to ask for help! Our series this month is all about how to talk to God through prayer! We are teaching Superkids the EMIC core value: We Pray About Everything! Pastor George says all the time, “Prayer is the foundation for every Christian endeavor.” For kids, prayer can seem like a big mountain to climb, but it’s easier than they realize. It’s simply fellowshipping with the Father! Each week, Superkids will learn how to fellowship with God by studying prayers in the book of Psalms. Pastor Terri just released a new book called “Encounter Him.” In this book she tells the story about how her grandmother taught her to pray, and she first heard the voice of the Lord as a young girl. Our Superkids are never too young to start praying!

Volunteer of the Month:
Joseph Marin
Joseph has served in 1st-5th for almost two years! Joseph is considerate, responsible and a hard worker. He did a phenomenal job at camp and has recently stepped into the role of Backstage Manager for our Sunday services. Thank you, Joseph, for your faithfulness, big heart and great attitude! We are thankful to the Lord for you!
Radiant:
Radiant is happening on Thursday, September 12th. We will have children’s ministry available for birth – 5th grade! Doors open at 6:30pm.

See You at the Pole:
