Commander’s Corner:
Happy New Year!!! 2023 is going to be a wonderful year. One of the prophetic words from Brother Copeland is to “make sure my Word is final authority in your life in 2023.” In Superkids, the theme for January is called “Firm Foundation.” We are starting off the year teaching our Superkids how to put the Word of God first place. The memory verse is Matthew 6:33 NIV, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.” Superkids got a preview of this during our New Year’s Eve service, when they learned practical ways to put the Word of God first place. I look forward to teaching your children even more about how to put the Word first place in the upcoming weeks!
Please note that on Sunday, January 8th, 1st – 5th graders will join their parents in the sanctuary to celebrate Pastors George and Terri’s 30-year anniversary. 1st-5th grade will still have Sunday School starting at 8:30am for breakfast. Please remember to pick up your Superkid promptly at 9:30am when Sunday school is over. Birth-kindergarten classrooms will be open during the entire service.
