Superkid Academy – November 17

Commander’s Corner:

Gobble, gobble! We are continuing our series called sweet fruits this week and celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday. The Superkids will learn about the yummy fruits of kindness and goodness this week. During this Thanksgiving week, I encourage you to give your children fun activities to do that will remind them about God’s goodness. Here are some fun ideas and activities below!

  • Thankful Journals– Have your child write down 3 things that they’re thankful for each day.
  • Thankful Turkey– Cut out a body and face of a turkey and some feathers.  Each day have your child write  one thing they are thankful for on a feather until the turkey has a full coat of feathers!
  • Gather Around the Table– Gather around the dinner table as a family and place some questions in a mason jar. Examples are: “What prayer did God answer this year for you?” and “Why are you thankful for your church?” All family members take turns picking a question out of the jar and sharing their answer.  This is a great time for family members to engage and talk about the goodness of God in their lives!

I want to say from the bottom of my heart how thankful the Superkid staff and I are for your family. You are the heartbeat of everything we do in Superkid Academy!  It is an honor and privilege to be able to partner with you and minister to your children every week.
