Commander’s Corner:
Joy is in the atmosphere at Superkid Academy! We are teaching the children about the time Paul and Silas were in prison in Acts chapter 16. Even though they were in hard and unfair circumstances they CHOSE to be joyful. Isaiah 61:3 says, “to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness…” When our children face a difficult or unfair circumstance in life, it is a great opportunity to teach them how to stop and praise! Praise runs off sadness and confusion, and God will exchange it with His JOY!
Wednesday Nights:
This week we are going to highlight our prayer elective! Superkids in this class will learn how to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and the importance of their special prayer language.
Birth-Kindergarten will learn SKA creed line: I am filled with His Holy Spirit!
