Superkid Academy – February

February Theme: Big and Bold

This month, our Superkids will learn about God’s immense love for them and how to share and demonstrate that love to others as we unlock one of our core values – We Walk in Love. Through lessons like the story of Ruth and Naomi, they’ll receive a revelation of sacrificial love and loyalty. They’ll also learn about love that serves, as seen when Jesus washed His disciples’ feet and much more.

The Bible clearly tells us that faith pleases God, but true and sincere faith can only operate through true and sincere love for others—and that starts at home!  We’ll share practical ways your Superkid can show love to their family, friends, and community.

Weekly Topics:

February 2nd – Ruth and Naomi (Book of Ruth)

February 9th – Jesus Washes the Disciples’ Feet (John 13)

February 16th – The Good Samaritan (Luke 10)

February 23rd – Jesus Heals the Man Brought Through the Roof (Luke 5)

Memory Verse:

“Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love, but the greatest of these is love.”

1 Corinthians 13:13 NIV

Bake a Heart Cake Together
Purchase a heart shaped pan and make a heart cake.  Let your children add the icing and top it off with sprinkles!

Pick or buy flowers for a grandparent
This is a thoughtful way to show them love!

Create a card for a friend

All you really need is: construction paper, crayons, and maybe some stickers!
