Radiant Happenings! January 12th

January is normally when many people make new resolutions or goals for the year. However, it seems that many have foregone making those resolutions or goals because they don’t want to be disappointed or “feel bad” if they don’t fulfill/reach them. May I be blunt and say failure to make resolutions or goals is sin! How? Because you are trusting in yourself to reach those goals instead of putting your trust in God to help you fulfill them.

Jesus said in John 15:5 (KJV) “…for without me ye can do nothing..” So, to try to accomplish those goals without Him is pride, which is sin. God is not stagnant; neither can we be. To fail to plan is to plan to fail! As a matter of fact – failing to make resolutions, goals, plans (whatever name you want to give it) hinder’s God’s ability to bless you! Look at what this scripture says:

“I am convinced that my God will fully satisfy every need you have, for I have seen the abundant riches of glory revealed to me through Jesus Christ!” Philippians 4:19 (TPT)

As long as you get with Holy Spirit and ask Him what goals, resolutions or plans to make for this year, according to that verse in Paul’s letter to the Philippians, he makes it clear that it is God that fully satisfies what we need!

Now, here’s a look at what is happening this week into next with our Radiant groups!
