Have you ever been out in the heat and by the time you got indoors and into the AC your body felt weak? I have and it is definitely something I try to avoid when at all possible! Likewise, our spirits can go through a spiritual “heat” or battle that leaves us feeling spiritually weak. What do you do when that happens? For me, I turn to the word and take a loooong drink from the well of living water!! This is one of the scriptures that brings that refreshing back to my spirit-man:
“So now we draw near freely and boldly to where grace is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness.” Hebrews 4:16 (TPT)
