Expect God’s Open Hand

We have a high expectation of what The LORD is going to do for, in and through us this year. Second Chronicles 20:20 says, “Believe in The LORD your God and you shall be established; believe and remain steadfast to His prophets and you shall prosper” (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition).

Let’s review several of the 2022 prophetic words.

Brother Copeland declared: “2022—the Year of Correction, Direction, Protection and Perfection in the Spirit, Soul and Body in Finances, Churches and Government.” Praise God! Those are tremendous marching orders. The LORD also declared that “In 2022, it ALL belongs to you!” and “In 2022, you WILL know what to do!”

Jerry Savelle proclaimed: “2022—the Year of the Open Hand of God.” We are to expect “unusual, extraordinary supernatural provision.”

Pastor Terri and I are believing with you for “unusual, extraordinary supernatural provision” this year. Together, we are exercising our faith for a daily bumper-crop harvest based on Psalm 68:19: “Blessed be The LORD, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.”

In his research, Brother Savelle discovered that the numeral 20 in Hebrew represents the open hand of God. He also found that the numeral 22 in Hebrew represents disorder and chaos. This is what The LORD said to Brother Savelle regarding 2020-2022:

In the midst of more and more chaos and disorder, I will open My hand and freely give to those who refuse to be shaken.

Brother Savelle said, “Those believers who refuse to be shaken by these conditions will experience the open hand of God. They will receive provision in the midst of chaos.”

The numeral 20 also represents expectancy—so, EXPECT the hand of God to manifest on your behalf, even in the midst of disorder and chaos.

Expectation focuses on the desired result, not the dreaded outcome.

Your expectation will remove anything in your line of sight that tries to divert your attention away from your object of faith. It becomes so focused and absorbed on The WORD of God until the fulfillment is realized.

True Bible expectation is an “intense, confident, joyful anticipation of something good.” In this case, we are expecting the open hand of God—even in the midst of disorder and chaos. We are expecting unusual, extraordinary supernatural provision every day.

When we declare this by faith each day, we are building up a stronghold on the inside and a determination that just won’t let go. We are actively expecting the manifestation of our expectation.

An expectation of faith is not something we have to emotionally work up. It is something that comes out of the inner man whenever a person continually feeds on God’s WORD. The Apostle Paul prayed this for the church at Rome: “I pray that God, the source of hope [or expectation], will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13, New Living Translation).

I also like Psalm 62:5: “My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.”

Stay in a constant state of expectation of God’s open hand. Pray this out loud right now:

“Father, I am living in a continual state of expectancy. I am seeing the result of my prayers with the eye of faith. Our church is growing every day. People are being saved, filled with the Spirit and taught who they are in Christ. They are becoming so rooted, grounded and established in The WORD that they are able to teach others.

“I declare that my body is healed and my finances are flourishing. My relationships are being restored, and my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren are increasing more and more in wisdom and stature. I am actively expecting 2022 to be the year of the open hand of God! I am expecting unusual, extraordinary supernatural provision.

“Even in the midst of disorder and chaos, I will rise up in the middle of my ship and shout, ‘PEACE, BE STILL!’ As a result, I will experience great calm in my life.”

Expecting God’s Open Hand,
