Hello 14forty Family, and welcome to our blog page. This is where we will keep you informed and up to date on what’s happening in 14forty.
Recent Event Highlights:
14forty Preview Night last Wednesday was a HUGE success! Our 8th Grade students got to visit 14forty High School, and our current 5th graders got to visit 14forty Middle School! We are so excited to welcome our new students and send off our Seniors in just ONE WEEK! Promotion is right around the corner, and we can’t wait!

Upcoming Events:
We will be having our quarterly Parent Meeting coming up THIS Sunday, June 5th immediately following the Main Service. We will be meeting on the SLC 2nd Floor Common Area to discuss our upcoming programming for the summer and Student Ministries Promotion, and to hear from our 14forty Pastors! Light refreshments will be served. We are looking forward to having you join us!
Wednesday, June 8th is PROMOTION NIGHT! This will be the night that all students across student ministries will “promote” up one grade! For our Seniors, this means they will be promoting into the Bridge, for our 8th graders, this means they will be promoting into 14forty High School, and for our 5th graders, this means they will be promoting into 14forty Middle School!
Our services on June 8th will be totally oriented towards welcoming our new students! We will have a promotion gift for every new 6th grader, new 9th grader, and graduating Senior. Graduating Seniors will be asked to remain in 14forty High School on this evening, as we have special commissioning elements for them.
Both the Middle School Room and the SLC Auditorium will be decorated, and cake or cupcakes will be served as a sweet treat. High School and Middle School services will be separate.
As usual, services start at 7pm and dinner will be served at 6:30pm. We can’t wait for this amazing night to celebrate!
As the Church we are called to go out and bless others with the Good News of the Gospel! Because of this, we will be having “Serve Thursday” every Thursday this summer! It is LIFE CHANGING… and fun!
Now that we’re all out of school, come meet us at the SLC at 8am every Thursday. We will be splitting into teams to go out and do service projects around the community! Join us beginning Thursday, June 9th from 8am-12pm for our first service project of the summer!
Remaining Serve Thursday dates will be:
- June 16th
- June 23rd
- June 30th
- July 7th
- July 14th
- July 21st
We will be helping out at places like Life Unlimited, Joseph Storehouse, EMIC congregant homes, etc. We will transport teams to and from these locations to the Church. Breakfast will be provided, and we will be back at EMIC by 12pm! We are excited about this opportunity to minister the love of God to others, so don’t miss it! We will see you there!
Middle School Zoo Trip
Calling all Middle Schoolers! Come join us for our summer kickoff event at the Fort Worth Zoo on Saturday, June 11th from 10am-3pm! We will be meeting at the zoo front gate and spending the day together enjoying God’s creation! Cost is $12 per student. Students will also need to either bring a lunch with them, or bring money to purchase lunch while we are at the zoo. We are so excited for this day of fun and community, so make sure to mark your calendars. Registration is required. We can’t wait to see you there!
