Thankful for Pastor Terri

I want to thank Pastor Terri for her awesome teaching on Understanding Spirit-Led Prayer. I see Pastor Terri as my spiritual mom so I want to thank her for all the input she has had in my life. She is an example that I want to follow, and I trust what she teaches me. My husband and I watch the early service on Sunday before we go to our own church here in B.C., and we just love it. We have been e-members since Jan.2005, and it has been such a blessing. I am listening to Pastor Terri’s teachings the second time around now. The class is a blessing to me in every way possible.  I am growing and learning to be excited about His presence on purpose. Purpose. That word fits Pastor Terri the best. When I hear that word I think of her! I am a committed student and want to thank Pastor Terri and Pastor George for everything. Thank you and we love you, Pastor Terri and Pastor George! A "Wonder" full week-end!

*** On Friday night, I made signs that said we were giving away free food on Saturday. I took the signs to a government apartment complex. As I was putting a sign on a bulletin board there, a young man came up to me and asked me for a ride. I said, “Sure.” He needed a ride to find a job. I took him to McDonalds, Panda Express, Sonic, and a few other places. I asked him if he was hungry, and he said, “Yeah.” So we went to Rosa’s in Lake Worth.



As we talked there at Rosa’s, I asked him if he knew where he would go if he died that day. He said that he believed he would go to hell. Then he shared with me, “The only thing preventing me from committing suicide is that I know I would go to hell.” I shared some scriptures with him and encouraged him. Then I looked at him and said, “Today, everything changes!”



I took him back to his apartment and he prayed and asked Jesus into his heart. I told him he needed to come with us on our Friday Night Street Ministry. He went with us and passed out tracts! We had 61 salvations in Downtown Fort Worth that night!





*** On Saturday morning, we returned to that apartment complex where I first met that young man; we brought with us more than 100 boxes of Angel Food. We prayed with one man who had trouble breathing; his breathing immediately got better! We prayed with a lady whose foot was in pain, and it immediately had no pain! We prayed with 11 people for first-time salvations!



After that, we took our EMIC bottles of water and passed them out to the people in the apartment complex. With 100 bottles left, we decided to stand on the corner of 287 and Bailey Boswell and pass out the rest. We were in the middle of the street passing out cold bottles of water.



While one couple in a car was waiting at the red light, they took the water and said, “Is this holy water?” I said, “It’s holy water if you call it holy.” They said, “You might think this is weird but we think our neighbor’s house is haunted. What do you think?” Just then, the light turned green. I said to them, “God will protect you. You should come to our church and we can minister to you.” They said, “Ok.”



Another lady who took our water turned around and came back to talk to us. She wanted to know if we had child care. She has been going to an Assembly of God church with no child care. She said that she would come and check out our church. All of this happened in only a matter of minutes!

I recently visited the Ministry grounds in Newark, TX. I wanted to express my heartfelt thanks for making me feel so welcome. I asked for tours, and they were given to me. I asked for prayer, and an assistant pastor from EMIC came to pray for me, invite me to lunch with Terri’s personal assistant, and also prayed for me and gave me a book. I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I was that the Ministry in person is what I think God wants the world to be like love and joy and peace all around, and His children who love to go to work. Thank you so much for a true opportunity of a lifetime. Please pass this onto Kenneth, Gloria, and all of the staff. I am so blessed to have been welcomed on this earth into Gods dwelling.

I have a praise report to share today. God is on the throne and I walk in victory. The enemy is a liar. A man ran a light and was struck by a car and hit into Nick and I as we sat at a light on the way home from church yesterday evening. Chaos was out there and it was stopped in its tracks. At the impact Nick first said Praise God! Praise God! He didn’t see any circumstance but His protection and was quick to say it. I praise Him that when we were pressed the Word came out of our mouths and protection by the blood of Jesus Christ covered my family. Fear could not even take a footstep into our path. I praise God for each and every one of you who have spoken the Word and been in agreement with our family. How great it was for me also as a mom to not have the opportunity to check on my son with a natural question of “are you okay?” because He had already jumped up and said Praise God! I am blessed! We are temples of the Holy Spirit and our bodies are whole! Hallelujah! God is faithful to me and to my family! Give Him a shout today!

Salvation Testimony

On Friday night, I walked up to 3 teenage girls. I asked the questions and found out that 2 of the girls thought they were going to Heaven because they did good things and the other girl had no idea where she would go after she died. I went through the scriptures with them and started leading them in the prayer. About halfway through the prayer, the oldest girl’s cell phone started ringing. She answered it and said, “Excuse me, but I’m in the middle of saying a prayer and I can’t talk to you!” and she hung up! She then looked at me asked me to finish the prayer. When we finished they were so excited…they couldn’t stop thanking me for talking to them!

A few salvation stories

At the mall on Friday night, I walked up to a group of 8 teenagers. I began to share with them the questions, scriptures, etc. As I was doing that, I saw a little head poke through the crowd. It was the head of a young boy. He said, "I know you! You are at the mall again." I looked at him and recognized him from another time at the mall. He and his friend had prayed the prayer of salvation with me. I pulled him through the group of teens and said, "Share with everyone what happened to you." He said, "I asked Jesus in my heart." I said to the group, "Let's all pray and ask Jesus to come into our hearts." And every one of them did.

Another group of teens were at the mall. There were about 5 of them. I walked up to them and asked them if they knew where they would go when they died. One girl quickly spoke up, "I would go to Heaven because I'm saved; Jesus is my Savior." I said, "That's wonderful!" Then I turned to the group and said, "What about the rest of ya'll?" They all had different responses. I said, "Your friend here knows the truth. That's awesome!" Then I shared the scriptures and prayed with the rest of the group.

We are not only sharing the truth with people and seeing people saved but we are also teaching others how to share the truth and see people saved!!!!!

On Saturday, I walked by Customer Service at the mall. Even though the mall was very busy, no one was standing at Customer Service. One guy was behind the counter. I walked up to him and he said to me, "Do you have a question?" What a set-up!!!

I said, "As a matter of fact, I do have a question. Do you know where you'd go if you died tonight?"

He looked at me kind of dumb-founded and said, "in the ground." I said, "Did you know that you can be sure that you would go to Heaven? In Romans it says that the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life and if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you'll be saved and go to Heaven." Then I reached out my hand and said, "Pray this prayer with me." And he did. Then he said, "Wow! That is amazing. Anytime you are here in this mall, would you please come by and talk to me about God?" I said that I would.

Also on Saturday, I walked up to a kiosk that was selling "dog paraphanalia." I know it had to be God because I am not interested in animals, especially not dogs! No one was at the kiosk except the two girls who were working there. I said that I am doing a survey in the mall on church attendance. I asked them if they go to church. One said, "I grew up in a Christian home and used to go to church but now I work on Sundays." The other girl said, "I'm an agnostic and I don't go to church." I said, "Okay. That's good." (I breezed right by her agnostic comment.) Then I asked them where they would go if they died. The one girl who grew up in the Christian home knew immediately she would go to Heaven and said that Jesus lives in her heart. The other girl said, "I don't know." I reached out my hand and said, "Pray this prayer now." And she did!!!!! Well, she's not an agnostic now! God is so good!!!!! I look forward to seeing her in Heaven one day.

Favor Covered Our Home as We Followed the Spirit's Leading

Last night, as my husband, Mark, and I watched the radar, it looked as if our house would barely catch the edge of a storm. But God spoke to Mark anyway and directed him to put both cars in the garage. Not 10 minutes later, we began to hear thunk...thunk...thunk, thunk, thunk....the golf ball sized hail began to fall. I could hear it hitting the roof and wondered if our boys would wake up, but they never did. My husband and I took authority over the storm and began to pray in the Spirit and the hail stopped pounding. It only hailed about one minute at our house, but the damage was certainly visible. Only NOT at our house! Each neighbor who had a vehicle outside experienced hail damage. My son's friend from school called to check on us and to see if we had electrical power. They had baseball sized hail and lost power...and they live about 1 mile from us. There was even a news report on WFAA regarding a car dealership who suffered severe damage to the cars on their lot...they are located about 2 miles from our house. Thank you Pastor George for following after God's leading to teach on the favor of God. Our family has not only been confessing, but declaring that we are blessed and highly favored of the Lord, and He truly proved it last night. I love it when God shows off...don't you?

Airline Tickets Refunded by the Favor of God

One Sunday morning Pastor George taught on the favor of God and I received a copy of the confession handout listing the confessions for the Favor of God. That day I was planning to fly to Tampa, Florida and bought last minute tickets for a total of $975 each. However, I had to cancel my flight. The tickets were non-refundable. Upon canceling my flight I was charged an additional $75 per ticket. The airline gave me a one year credit to use the $975 towards another purchase. As it turned out, God’s Favor moved on my behalf and the airline gave me a full refund on the $975! Plus they dropped the additional charge to $25 per ticket. Rules, regulations, etc. were changed to my advantage because I've been speaking the favor of God over my situations. This is a testimony of victory and God’s favor on my finances.

Debt Eliminated & Body Healed

At the beginning of 2007 Pastor George began preaching on vision. He said to write down your short-term and long-term goals. One of my short-term goals was to get out of debt. At the time, I owed $7000 in credit card debt. I made a commitment to God that I would get out of debt and that I would not charge anything on my credit cards that I could not pay off immediately. Over the past 2 years that debt has dwindled, and I am so happy to tell you that as of yesterday, March 14, 2009, all of my credit card debt is gone!! Praise God! My tax return arrived, and not only was it enough to pay my tithe but it also paid the remaining $2600 that I owed! Not only did He get me out of debt, but there was also an amazing anointing that came upon me yesterday as I was interceding for others and worshipping Him. The anointing began to flow throughout my body and I knew the Lord was doing a supernatural work. Later on, I noticed that all of the fatigue and aches and pains that I had felt in my body, particularly my legs and joints, were gone! They felt better than they had in months. God is so good!! Praise His Name forever!

An Unexpected Inheritance & House Sold for Full Price

God is so good! He blessed us so much in 2008, and we're looking forward to thriving in 2009. Beginning in 2008 Pastor George preached a message about knowing the seasons and when a particular season is starting or stopping in your life. At the time we were living 45 minutes from EMIC and were believing to move closer. Well, the Lord said it was the season to move. We took a step of faith, and we put our house on the market just as the housing market was starting to slow down in the natural. ONE MONTH later we had a contract on our house for the FULL asking price! Hallelujah! God provided a bigger house for our family just 15 minutes from church. We also learned that Tina's grandfather, whom she had only met one time, had passed away and left an inheritance to her and her children. His estate was finalized in December, and we were able to tithe over $3000 into the youth and children's building. We felt that this was good ground since part of the inheritance was the children's. This is sowing into their future in SKA. We PRAISE GOD for our pastors and EMIC family. Thank you for all you do, and THANK GOD for ALL He's done!

Blessings as We Tithe

Writing our tithe check each week is most important to me. Recently, however, after the tithe check was written I realized that there was much to get accomplished but with little resources. My husband and I had even considered withholding our tithes so that the needs of our home could be met. We needed groceries and the rent was soon due. My heart was sad at the thought that we might not be able to give our tithe. Sunday morning as we were getting ready to come to church, I felt moved to grab the checkbook. While Pastor George was preaching, the Holy Spirit prompted me to give our tithe. What a joy it was to take this step of faith. As the week went on, one need after another would arise until my concern for the rent became big! As my husband went to pick up his pay stub, I began to give God glory in advance for His blessing, trusting Him that we would have what was needed to pay the rent. My husband returned and handed me the pay stub; it was more than we needed! My, my, my, I don’t know why I was ever concerned about rent! Glory to God, He supplies my every need. That morning I had decreed every scripture in the ‘God’s Creative Power’ gift collection book by Charles Capps over my family. As I was giving God the Glory for our rent being paid, He spoke to my heart, “Just think what I could do if you get more fervent about My Word!” That evening our daughter had track tryouts and was to call us ten minutes before she needed to get picked up from school. She called in tears from her friend’s phone because her phone had been stolen. Isn’t that just like the devil? He tried to steal our joy. Well, we united in prayer as a family. First, we forgave the person who stole the phone and asked God to move upon their heart to return it. Then, we called the lost to be found in the name of Jesus and gave God the glory in advance for the phone’s return. The next day as I drove my daughter to school, we continued to give God the glory for the return of her phone. Later that morning I phoned the school, and Glory to God, the phone had been returned. My, my, my, I don’t know why I was ever concerned about that phone! Glory to God, even the lost can be found! Thank you, LORD! I give You all the glory for these great blessings!

Unaffected by Downsizing

I give all the glory to the Lord for my job; He is my provider and keeper. I moved here from California in 2006 with no employment at the time, but since I have been in Texas the Lord has provided work for me. I still work for a company that is based in California. I was hired along with another manager located in Florida. Together we manage a team of real estate agents representing our company but living in the Midwest and East regions. Since October our client has been seriously affected financially. As a result we have had to downsize our staff considerably, which now made it unnecessary for two regional managers. My position was on the list for termination. However, I knew that Lord had given me this position so I chose not fear and trusted only in Him. Glory to God I was notified that my job would stay intact because the manager from Florida had resigned to take another job!

Renewed & Recharged through Understanding Spirit-Led Prayer

The series on Understanding Spirit-Led Prayer has been a tremendous blessing. When I met with God during my prayer times, I felt like a girl on a date with someone she didn’t really know. I didn't know what to say anymore besides listing the needs for myself and others. I still have a way to go, but things are flowing so much better. I feel renewed and recharged. Thank you, Pastor Terri, for being faithful to preach this message. Just watching how you approach prayer (I caught it!) helped bunches. Much love in Jesus.

Blood Sugar Drops Because of Undisturbed Heart

For the past several months I had very high blood sugar, as high as 723 in December 2008. My doctors could not figure out what was wrong with me. On February 3, Pastor George spoke at staff chapel about a calm, undisturbed heart being the life and health of the body (Proverbs 14:30). He also shared that God told him to start enjoying life. At that staff chapel I made a decision to start enjoying my life.

That staff chapel was followed by another on February 17, where Pastor George spoke about living a life of peace. That morning I was not feeling good. I had been fighting a fever for about four days, and my blood sugar was 399. During the service I realized that what was wrong with my body and my health was because of me—not the doctors nor the insulin.

Sitting in chapel, I rolled the care of everything over to the Lord. Afterward, Pastor George came over and prayed for me. The next morning my blood sugar was half of what it had been the day before. Every morning since then it continued to go down, and now it is consistently at the place where it is supposed to be.

A week ago I had an appointment with my doctor. He looked at the numbers and asked what I was doing and what changed. I answered, “I changed. I am not stressing out about everything, and I am rolling the care.” He looked at me and said, “Keep doing what you are doing; it is working.” Thank you, Pastor George, for coming and talking to the KCM staff! It changed my life.

Major Neck Injury Healed

I live in Chihuahua, Mexico, and wanted to attend EMIC for the Billy Burke meetings in April. I asked the Lord to reduce the airfare so that I may fly to DFW. The Lord answered my prayer in that He reduced the airfare by $1400! I bought the plane ticket and flew to DFW the next day. On Dec. 9, 2008, I had a car accident which damaged three disks in my neck, and I had been wearing a neck brace ever since. The doctors wanted to do surgery and insert bone implants and metal supporters in my neck. I always knew the Lord was going to heal me; so I never accepted that report. I was in the meeting at EMIC on Monday, April 27, and the Lord healed me! I am completed healed with no pain and taking no medications. I had been on I am also renewed on the inside. For five years my daughter and I have watched Pastors George and Terri on Sundays. They are our pastors, and EMIC is our church. We love them and our church family. God bless you, and JESUS IS LORD!

Downloaded Services Encourage Missionaries

My husband and I really needed to hear the encouraging Word of God! As missionaries to Kenya we travel back and forth from there to the States. We are also self-employed and just couldn’t seem to break through in the spirit. We downloaded your services on our MP3 player, thumb drive and CDs. We were determined to go after God with all we had! We put the Word of God into our ears and kept it before our eyes day and night, preaching to each other on our way to work and confessing the favor scriptures. As a result we are now seeing with our eyes what we started to see with our spirits. When we go to Kenya we take your programs with us and bless the ministers there. Thank you. We confess with you and to each other that the children’s building is FILLED, FURNISHED, FULL, in Jesus’ Name!

Pain-Free Breathing

During the Billy Burke healing service on Sunday, I was healed in my right lung. Since my lung surgery, whenever I would take a deep breath I felt slight pain as my lungs expanded. Now I no longer feel any pain!!! Praise God!!

The Lord touched me with a new anointing. He is healing my heart and my land. He has broken a curse on my vehicle and my father. I am receiving sweet sleep at night. I am being refreshed and made stronger in my inner man. The pain I had in my abdomen is gone.

Shielded from Damage

I recently bought a previously owned car, a beautiful Chrysler 300C with only 12,000 miles on it. The former owner had never driven it in the rain and had kept it in a garage.  It looks brand new. That in itself is a testimony; however, since I live in West Virgina there are lots of deer.  Every day I pray that God surrounds my life and my car with a shield to protect me from the deer when I drive. One night while coming home from the movies I saw a deer on the side of the road. I slowed down to about 20 miles an hour, but the deer hit the car with a big thud. We were only a few miles from town. We couldn't see any damage on the car, but of course it was also dark. The next day I went to work and my co worker and I looked for damage, and we still couldn't find any. A couple days later while I drove back to the city I noticed that my passenger mirror was askew. I thought that must have been what the deer hit. When I reached my destination, I got out to see how bent the mirror was. Praise the Lord! I discovered I have the kind of mirror that is on some sort of swivel that I can just pop it back into place, and that was that. Glory to God.

Family Experiences Healing Power of God

I want to thank ALL of EMIC for the wonderful four nights of healing ministry with Billy Burke we recently had. From Pastor George's pre-meeting sermon that built up our faith and broke down the walls of resistance to the technical team that made it possible for the meetings to be aired over the internet--there has been a pivotal change in my family because of those meetings. I was able to attend the services, and I also called all my friends and family to watch it online. My Dad received healing for his enlarged prostate.  Also, he no longer needs reading glasses. As a bonus he has lost 30 pounds since then. My mother was healed of restless leg syndrome due to diabetes and sleep apnea and has seen improvement in her blood pressure. Dad said that God is healing His people in order to get us ready for this great end time push to birth a multitude of souls into the Kingdom, and He's using the internet! My daughter and my son were in the service when Pastor Burke laid hands on the children. My daughter’s hearing was restored in her left ear that had ruptured from a fever when she was two.  She also received healing from a deviated septum; she no longer snores. When touched by Pastor Burke, my son fell out under the power of the Holy Spirit and has had a major change in his attitude towards God. Prior to this when I would pray for him or tell him that God had a plan for his life he would bristle. However after that experience he has initiated conversations about God and Heaven. I believe that my son heard God's call while slain in the Spirit at the Billy Burke Meetings. The other night he asked me if I still had pain from the broken collarbone that happened when I was a child. I said yes. He grabbed my head with force and rebuked the pain in the name of Jesus. The pain left. My husband was healed from snoring and sleep apnea and from the chronic pain in his legs. My healing was a freedom from depression that has been a cycle in my life since I was a little child. I felt the spirit of it lift off me like someone yanking a wet, wool blanket off my head, shoulders and back. I have my victory and I'm not going back. Praise God! He has awakened us to HIS miracles, wonders, and signs in this time!

Wonderful Discovery

While I was watching the Billy Burke services online, I was healed of respiratory problems.  I give God all the praise!  I stumbled upon EMIC’s church services on the internet while I was looking for Pastor Terri’s New Year’s testimony.  What a wonderful discovery!  What a blessing!  I am a KCM partner.  My, my, you all have a spirit-filled, anointed worship service.  I am happy you let the Lord use you.

Weight Off

Thank you for being vessels used by God to show me the Holy Spirit.  My spiritual walk is enriched, and I am growing by leaps and bounds.

The power of God was so strong in church during the Billy Burke healing services.  Mr. Burke said that God does not want to just give us a cup of healing; He wants to give us the whole well!  That word struck deep in my spirit, and it just kept stirring on the inside of me.  In the meetings I was deeply longing and praying for God to heal each person that went forward.  Then God in His amazing way touched me while I was reaching out for others.  Deep inside me I heard God say to me that the rest of the weight on my body is going away.  I got so excited that I had tears.  He also said that the extra skin on me is going also.  Before I left the sanctuary I sat back down and thanked God.  I remembered the story in Luke about the ten lepers who got healed but only one came back to thank Jesus.  The one that came back was not only cleansed like the others but he was made whole.  At that moment I thought of me being the one that came back.  Yes, God is going to heal me of all this weight, but I am going to be whole—NO EXTRA SKIN ON ME!!!  Oh God, You are amazing!  When Tuesday night came I was so excited, but nothing could have prepared me for what was in store.  By 10:15 p.m. Mr. Burke said that God wanted everyone to come up front.  We all made our way there but because of the crowd many of us were in the aisles.  He then told us to raise our hands and sing to the Lord.  The Spirit was so strong in me that my left hand shook, and I could not stop it.  Then a lady in the front started crying out loud.  Mr. Billy explained that the lady did not have a devil in her.  She is a child of God and was releasing the pain that had been in her.  That was a cry of pain being released.  I could also feel the pain that I carried in me being released.  I knew God had already forgiven me, but I wasn’t letting it go.  Then at that moment it all poured out.  Twenty-three years of hurt and regret and in one night God took it all away!  I am free, completely free!  God broke those chains and not only set me free but also raised me to a higher level in His presence.  With lots of love,

Symptoms Gone

Dear Pastors George and Terri, I can't thank you enough for the healing services with Billy Burke.  As a result I would like to share my healing testimony with you.  I had experienced several problems over the past 10 years, but they are leaving me one by one. The first thing to go was an intestinal infection that came on me two weeks ago. The symptoms completely left me on Wednesday night. I had lab work done this morning and am waiting for the phone call that will verify my healing on this. I did not take any medication for it, so all the glory goes to my Jesus!  Three years ago I was diagnosed with diabetes, but my blood sugar is getting better by the day. My high blood pressure has stopped pounding in my head.  My back injury which happened years ago is no longer causing me pain!! Praise God!!! Today I cut up the disability sign that hung on my car mirror. I believe my back is being completely healed! Every time it begins to hurt I thank Jesus for healing me, and the pain leaves. I refuse to allow the devil to steal it away from me! I live in Montana, and we just experienced a 3-day spring snowstorm that dumped 25 inches on my yard. Needless to say, I missed parts of the services because of buffering problems and occasional loss of power. I am now listening to each service again through on-demand, and each one reminds me of how blessed I am to have Jesus in my life! Granddaughter Healed!

Last week my granddaughter had thrush throughout her mouth. It was so bad that she was unable to go into the nursery on Sunday. I prayed with her and confessed that she was healed in the Name of Jesus. Monday my daughter and I took her to the doctor. When the doctor looked at her she told us that the thrush was just beginning since it was only on her lips. We walked out of there thanking Jesus because we knew that He had healed her.  We knew the thrush had been worse just the day before! She only had to have 3 days of medicine instead of 2 weeks. Thank you Jesus!

Marvelous Manifestations of the Holy Spirit

I watch meeting services through kcm.org quite often.  I found the Days of Refreshing services and then began to watch the church services at EMIC. While Pastor Terri taught on Spirit-Led Prayer I asked my pastor if we could watch them on Saturday evenings at 7:00 p.m. He approved and we would watch half of one lesson at a time and then pray. God has met us with marvelous manifestations of His Holy Spirit. The presence of God has begun to spill over into our Sunday Services. When God sent me to this church less than a year ago, a crowd of 10 to 15 people was considered good in any service. However, this past Sunday we had close to 40 people! What is even more exciting is that the entire church came down to the altars to recieve more from the Lord. I am a third generation Assemblies of God and a preacher's kid; I thought I had seen most of the ways the Holy Spirit leads in a service. However, during our Saturday prayer meetings I have witnessed a greater manifestation of the Spirit's presence than ever before. We plan to continue to watch the rest of Pastor Terri’s lessons. Full of the Holy Spirit Through Spirit Led Prayer

Pastors George and Terri have been a blessing to me thru all their teachings and messages. I am hooked! Last month I tuned in online to the Branson Victory Campaign, thinking I would hear Gloria Copeland; however, Pastor George came on with his message on “Thriving in the Midst of Famine”.  It made me sit up and take notice. I then went to the EMIC website and found a treasure trove of precious Word messages that I have been listening to ever since. I have listened and watched everything from 2009 several times and am now going back to 2008. I have watched all of Billy Burke messages as well. Oh my goodness!!! The series Pastor Terri taught on Spirit Led Prayer was absolutely amazing. I learned so much and have used the principles as I have been led to pray with others. I have the messages playing day and night; I want to make sure I receive all it is giving me. I have loaded some on my MP3 player to take with me. I can’t seem to get enough, and I listen to them at work as well. I have told so many people about it, asking them to listen to these messages as well. I have learned so much in the past month that I feel so full of the Holy Spirit. It has given me a new perspective in many areas. I attend a great church. I am a tither and I am happy there, but this is just adding to my continued growth. I have been able to use them to share with others when I pray with them or when they need a word of encouragement. I want to thank you all for listening to God when He gives you direction and messages like this and sharing them with us. Negative for Uterine Cancer

During my annual examination my doctor told me that it looked as though I had cancer of the uterus and a biopsy was needed. It would take two weeks before we knew the results. It took everything within me NOT to freak out, cry hysterically and say to her, “This can’t happen to me!” Instead of speaking in fear, I went over 2 Timothy 1:7 in my mind and told the doctor, “I appreciate your knowledge doctor, but God is my healer and He has final authority in this matter!” She just smiled at me. In March of 1999 I asked Jesus into my heart. I began learning how to stand on the Word of God for the healing of our finances through Kenneth and Gloria Copeland’s teachings. I was taught to cast out fear immediately by standing on God’s Word and not to speak words of doubt, unbelief and fear. Fear gives place to the devil. However, God’s Word says, “By His stripes you were healed” 1 Peter 2:24. “With long life will I satisfy you!” Psalm 91:16. When I got in my car after my examination I cried and called out to Jesus. I immediately got into prayer and searched the Bible for Scripture I could take as my own. I found it, Psalm 114:7! I put my name in it and claimed it as mine! I said, “You tremble, cancer, at the presence of Marilyn and Bruce’s God! You get out of my body in Jesus’ Name, the Name that is above every name which includes cancer! Cancer, you have no right to this body! Now get out of here!” I said this Scripture 15 or more times a day! The enemy cannot have my life! My husband, Bruce, and I told no one about the cancer. Two long weeks crawled by waiting for the biopsy results. When the phone rang with my doctor’s name on the caller ID, I took it with me into my prayer closet. I knew that this one moment would determine how I would live for the rest of my life. The doctor said, “Hi, Marilyn, I have the results. It is negative for uterine cancer!” I said, “All the Glory goes to God! It’s the Lord’s doing and it’s marvelous in our eyes!” (Psalm 118:23) She said, “Amen!” After this, I immediately got flat on the floor put my face into the carpet, and started thanking and praising God for keeping and giving me His Word to stand on! Jesus gave us this testimony to share with others! It has been several years now. There are unending testimonies to share. We want to thank Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and George and Terri for teaching the faith message! This played a big role in the results of this testimony! God Bless you and JESUS IS LORD!

Unexpected Check

Things like this happen to me all the time… Yesterday I was getting my girls ready for T-Ball practice while my husband was going through our weekly junk mail. As I was braiding my daughter’s hair he came across an envelope with my maiden name on it and asked if I had seen this piece of mail. I said, “No, open it”. After a few seconds of him reading it, I asked what it was. He did not answer. So, after I finished my daughter’s hair I got up to look at what was captivating my husband’s attention. It was a check made out to me for $1,400 from an insurance company under which my previous car was warranted. This contract was over 8 years ago! The only thing I could say was, “Things like this happen to me all the time!” I am thriving in 2009!

Bulldog Faith Leads to New Job with Increased Pay

When we moved to Texas in 2005, my husband and I had just gotten married. I was working at Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth on the second shift, which meant I was working from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Then, I started working every other weekend. My husband was working during the day and very seldom on the weekend. I began to miss my husband as we were crossing paths most of the time. I applied for a day shift at Cook's and was passed over. I began to get discouraged but continued to work there. I really felt that God blessed me with that job as it was my first job out of school. I knew I was supposed to be there. I was able to pray over the blood that I was working on. I am a Medical Technologist, which means that I perform all lab testing and help doctors with their results. I felt that God was using me as a channel to be there for those kids and their families. Even though my work was fulfilling, I was desperately missing and longing to be with my husband. I would continuously tell my husband that I was ready for a change. I would continuously tell God, I'm ready! Most of the time all I wanted was for my husband to sympathize and feel sorry for me. Praise God, he NEVER did that. I just kept pressing on. We planted a seed for a day job that was closer to home, with more responsibility and making just as much as I did at night. Pastor George started preaching on Bulldog Faith. My husband and I just soaked up every word, every scripture that Pastor George was teaching us. I printed all his notes and kept standing. I felt God tell me to continue to be obedient and to keep trusting Him. God told me to really BELIEVE deep down in my heart that it was done. I felt that God told me to go to the Southwest Believer's Convention in Fort Worth as much as I could. I knew it might be tough for my flesh, as I would get home at 11:30 p.m., but I committed to going to every  morning service. I took my lunch and would eat it after the morning sessions and meditate on what I had just learned. After that I would then head to work. Before I started attending the Believer's Convention I had started applying to other jobs and knocking on other doors. The second day of the Believer's Convention, God answered my prayers! Before, I made it into th e coliseum I received a phone call from a director of a lab that wanted to offer me a job. It was a day shift, managerial type position at a new facility. It was 15 minutes from home, working four 10 hour days. Also, she offered to pay me MORE than what I was making at night! I immediately started crying. Three years of prayer and perserverance had come to pass. It wasn't always easy, but I just knew that my breakthrough was coming. I have learned that God will reward those who will continue to stand and to just keep pushing through at all times. God has taught me to trust and rely in Him and to know that He truly is my only source! Praise God that I have a Pastor who taught me about Bulldog Faith and a husband who would not take part in my pity party! I have been working at my new job since October of 2008. Praise God! Ever since then I have received yet another raise! God has blessed me in this job and has really encompassed me with His favor. I have met some people at this new job that I just KNOW are divine appointments! Praise God for EMIC, Pastor George, and my husband. I am a living, breathing, walking testimony that God is REAL!

Touched by God’s Healing Power

On the March 18th Wednesday night service, I interpreted for the Spanish speaking audience of EMIC. The Lord's presence was at church, and Pastor Terri was teaching on how to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in prayer. Towards the end of the service as she was speaking in tongues, I felt the Lord healing the left side of my body, including my chest and arm. Five months ago I had a mammogram and had received three letters requesting further mammographic views. My doctor told me that I must go back at once and get further views. During this period of time I was never afraid. I kept taking God's healing scriptures and standing on His word even though at times the pain was so bad it would wake me up while sleeping. What struck me during Pastor Terri’s prayer was that I knew in my Spirit the Lord was ministering healing to me. I felt the warmth of God touching my body, and it was real! When Pastor George came to the stage with the interpretation that was exactly what he prayed for. It was confirmation to me of what had already taken place in my body. I am so thankful for Pastor Terri’s tenderness towards the Holy Spirit and for being such a great example of yielding to His power in her life. I was just overwhelmed with gratitude to the Lord; I could not stop giving Him thanks. When I finally had my appointment this past Tuesday, the 24th, the doctor came and told me that there was nothing wrong with the mammographic views and that everything was normal. Thank you Father, thank you Jesus, and thank you Holy Spirit.

Good Report Despite Head Injury

January 23rd started out like any other day. I had my prayer time and put the word in my heart. Bertie, my husband, and I went for our usual walk at the mall. I went to the store to pick up my shoe order and have lunch with my sister-in-law. When I came out of the shoe store I stepped off the curb, lost my balance and landed flat on the concrete. The back of my head was cut and bleeding. A nurse had come out from a nearby store and helped me by holding and applying pressure to the wound. When the ambulance arrived the driver said I needed to go to a hospital that had a Trauma Center. They said I could have damage to my brain or had suffered a stroke or experienced a heart problem. Fear tried to grip me, but I chose to praise and give God thanks for the good outcome. I recalled the scriptures on the authority in the name of Jesus; I pled the blood and put on the garment of praise. The peace of God flooded me, and I said I am going to relax and enjoy my first ambulance ride. They did an EKG at the hospital, and they scanned my brain. The test results showed that all was normal. All I had to do was wait for the doctor to staple my wound. I entered the ER at 11:45 a.m. At 3:45 p.m. the doctor was finished with me and said I was better than most people with this type of injury. Thanks for a church that preaches the uncompromised word. We have been coming to EMIC since 1992. God is good, and He knows I need the strong word of faith.

Enriched Prayer Life

My prayer time and fellowship with the Lord has come up to another level as a result of Pastor Terri’s Spirit Led Prayer teachings on Wednesday nights.  My husband and I pray together every day and consistantly listen online. My husband’s hours change often. He works nights, and we were not able to attend the services. However we watch them live online. I miss serving at the church; my greatest joy is loving and serving my God and loving and serving my Pastors. We love all our family at EMIC; it is an honor for me to serve on the hostess team.
