About Catherine (Cathy) Grigg

My given name is Catherine, but I have always been called Cathy since I was a little girl. I have been married to a wonderful man and partner in life, Curtis, since 1988. We have two sons that are the joy of our life, as well as two dogs and a cat that we adopted while living in Dubai. I am the oldest of five siblings, who I am grateful to God for. In my spare time I like to read and cross-stitch. I enjoy being at home with my family, but also enjoy traveling to visit my mother at her farm.

I was born and raised in Texas. I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior at age 19 during a service at Lakewood Church with Brother John Osteen. Several years later I met and married my husband at Lakewood. During our time there we were blessed to hear Godly teaching from such great men of faith as: Brother Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, TL Osborn, Lester Sumrall, and so many more. Over the course of many years we moved a few times and I would begin teaching at a Christian daycare and eventually a Christian school until the Lord moved us to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. During our final year in Dubai we heard some messages by Brother Copeland and Pastor George that bore witness in our spirit that the Lord was calling us to relocate back to Texas to be a part of the family at EMIC and help build the Revival Capital of the World! Since returning to Texas, not only did I become a part of the EMIC staff, but my husband and I both attended and graduated the inaugural class of Kenneth Copeland Bible College! I have served on the EMIC staff as the Preschool Coordinator and then as the Preschool Minister. I have been a part of the Women’s Ministry since I arrived back in Texas in 2015.

Now I have the privilege to care for the Lord’s daughters at EMIC as the Women’s Pastor. I am excited to see all the Lord has in store for us in the years ahead. As the Word of God says in 2 Cor. 3:18 (WNT), “And all of us, with unveiled faces, reflecting like bright mirrors the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same likeness, from one degree of radiant holiness to another, even as derived from the Lord the Spirit.”
