Dear Congregation,
Recently, the Lord has been ministering to us about what is to be our eternal quest—to be exactly like Jesus in every way possible. We should look like Him, sound like Him, talk like Him, think like Him, act like Him, heal the sick like Him, give like Him, have compassion on others like Him, be holy and pure like Him, be humble like Him, be anointed like Him—and especially, love like Him.
We ought to seek to become a direct reflection of Jesus to such a degree that when people see us, they see Jesus. We want to follow His example of how to conduct life and relationships. We want to emulate, replicate, imitate, pattern after, personify, embody and fully demonstrate Him in the same way He did His Father.
Consider making John 14:9 your life’s goal and passion: “He that hath seen me hath seen the Father.” What a statement!
Doable? Yes! Attainable? Absolutely!
I desire for John 12:45 to become a living, breathing reality in all of us: “He that seeth me seeth him that sent me.” Jesus is the ultimate example of how we are to live.
Love,
