Pastor George and Terri Pearsons

Dear Friend,

FINISHED, FURNISHED, FULL AND FREE!

That is what we are calling our Youth and Children’s Building, and our God is the supplier of everything it takes to complete the facility.

On Sunday, February 21, we announced the next phase of the building. Thank you for applying your faith to the next building phase. I like to call this “Next-Phase Faith.” Let me explain.

A project like this can look overwhelming. But God wants to help us every step of the way. And if we faithfully believe God and stand our ground for this phase, we will see it completed. Then it will be on to the next phase—and the next—until the entire building is completed.

The key here is to keep on possessing the land. We must keep on pursuing the goal, patiently, diligently—step by step—until it is finished. We must take the land, city by city, until the entire land is ours. That is why we are calling Phase 4 “Project Joshua.” Why? Because we are possessing the building.

The taking of Canaan land is a great example of this principle.

Deuteronomy 1:8 says, “Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land….” God promised the land. They had to take it by faith. And by faith they did! There were a few snags along the way. God had to motivate them to not quit and stop short of what He promised them. “There remaineth yet very much land to be possessed” (Joshua 13:1). Even Joshua had to stir them up when he said, “How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the Lord God of your fathers hath given you?” (Joshua 18:3).

It is easy to lay down your faith when a long period of time goes by without results. It is easy to back off your stand when it appears as if the vision is so large it will never be accomplished. But….

• According to Hebrews 10:39, “we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.” We don’t regress or retreat—we pursue and overtake all!

• According to Galatians 6:9 (The Amplified Bible), we do not “lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.”

• According to Hebrews 6:12, we are not slothful, “but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”

So, let’s take the land that is before us.

Let’s finish Phase 4 of this building—and then, let’s finish the next one, and the next one until it is totally completed. We won’t let go until all the land is possessed. FINISHED! FURNISHED! FULL AND FREE!

What is your vision?

Does it look overwhelming to you?

If so, take it one faith bite at a time. Then, take another bite and another, until you wake up one morning and see that the vision is totally fulfilled!

Together we are possessing the land,

Pastor George
