Vision for the Revival Capital of the World

Ezekiel 12:21-23 (NLT)

“Again a message came to me from the Lord: “Son of man, you’ve heard
that proverb they quote in Israel: ‘Time passes, and prophecies come to nothing.’
Tell the people, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will put an end to this proverb,
and you will soon stop quoting it.’ Now give them this new proverb to replace the old one:
‘The time has come for every prophecy to be fulfilled!’”

Every church and ministry have specific assignments from heaven. Sometimes those assignments are received as prophetic words. It’s important to go back and refresh yourself on those prophetic words. I want to look at what the Lord has spoken concerning Kenneth Copeland Ministries (KCM).

I began working for KCM in 1976. I started the in-house Art Department, which eventually grew into the Publications Department.

In 1979, Brother Kenneth Copeland shared the “Revival Capital of the World” vision with me. The purpose of that discussion was to produce a vision brochure. Here are some of the details from that meeting:

In 1970, while flying home from a meeting, Brother Copeland heard these words; it seemed as if they came over his radio: “Coming to you from the Revival Capital of the World.” HE thought to himself, “There’s an entertainment capital of the world: Hollywood. There’s a political capital of the world: Washington D.C. But where is the Revival Capital of the World?”

He had no answer.

Then, in 1973, some friends brought he and Gloria to the property that is now Kenneth Copeland Ministries in Newark, Texas, on Eagle Mountain Lake. The moment he stepped foot on the property, the Spirit of the Lord said to him, “THIS is the Revival Capital of the World, and you are going to build it.” He answered and said, “I receive that in the name of Jesus, and I’ll do it.” Then, the Lord said, “Get it done.”

Brother Copeland took the brochure I produced to the next meeting, and then never mentioned it again. He said “people” would call the ministry the Revival Capital of the World. Publicly no one spoke anything about it until 2014––35 years later. One Sunday morning in church, I began sharing the vision of the Revival Capital.  I thought to myself, “I’m a ‘people,’ so I’m going to talk about it!”

What is the Revival Capital of the World? In the 1979 brochure, Brother Copeland said it would be “used for the production of God’s uncompromised Word in every form the heart can imagine.”

We have been given some outstanding words about the Revival Capital. One in particular came through Pastor Jesse McElreath, who was the pastor of Lake Country Baptist Church years ago. In 1997, Pastor McElreath had an encounter with the Lord one Wednesday afternoon before church. He sent me the Word the Lord gave him regarding the Revival Capital vision.

The dove of the Holy Spirit is over Eagle Mountain Lake and is descending in power and might over the Eagle Mountain Church. I have seen in a vision, a huge tower at the mountain, and from it is flowing radio and television signals being beamed to the entire world. I have seen in this same vision literally thousands of pilgrims making their way from across this earth to the mountain. I have seen them camped all over the grounds simply waiting for someone to come and preach the good news of the Gospel to them.

What I have seen far surpasses the ‘Toronto Blessing’ and the ‘Pensacola Outpouring.’ Ten thousand a day will be saved. I have seen our church linked arm and arm with you to minister to the multitudes. We will be helping with the food, shelter and discipling. The seed that is sown at Eagle Mountain International will yield first thirty, then sixty, then one hundred-fold. It will take all hands-on-deck to take care of the harvest that is coming. I see a big sign blinking on and off saying, ‘Thirst is Everything! Obey Your Thirst!’

You build it, and they will come!

Pastor Happy Caldwell was our guest speaker at Eagle Mountain International Church on Sunday, November 11, 2018. He gave further clarification to the Revival Capital Vision.

“People are coming from everywhere to this place, to this mountain, to this church to be touched by God, and they are going to take it all over the world,” he said.

Together, we are walking out the Revival Capital of the World vision. What a glorious assignment. Pastor Terri and I so appreciate each of you. Don’t ever forget about words the Lord has given you concerning your assignment. Go back over those words, find scriptures to stand on and exercise your faith for the manifestation of what God has promised. He is faithful to perform His Word!

The time has come for every prophecy to be fulfilled!

With Hearts Ablaze,

Pastor George
