Tither’s Rights!

What an amazing time to be alive! We are witnessing the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit as we come closer and closer to the coming of our LORD Jesus.

Joel 2:23 clearly defines the time in which we live: “He will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.” We are in the time of the former and latter rain—everything that happened in the Old Testament is now combined with everything that took place in the New Testament. It is a glory storm of a magnitude we have never seen before.

The LORD is manifesting Himself in every way imaginable—and beyond imagination! We are hearing of unusual miracles, supernatural deliverances and glorious provisional testimonies.

We believe for miraculous demonstrations of supply for you and your family as you walk with The LORD and give His WORD first place in your life. We believe for increase and abundance and declare in agreement with 2 Corinthians 9:8 (Amplified Bible,Classic Edition) that you “always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].”

Last month, we took time to really dig into the importance of tithing. The tithe is 10 percent of our entire income. According to Leviticus 27:30, it belongs to God: “And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is The LORD’S: it is holy unto The LORD.” I like what Pastor Bill Winston said: “A tithe does not become a tithe when we give it. It becomes a tithe when we get it. The moment we receive a paycheck, it becomes a tithe—not when we bring it into the house of God.”

There are certain rights that belong to those who are faithful tithers. We call those “tither’s rights,” and they’re found in Malachi 3:10-12. Let’s look at each verse in the AMPC.

TITHER’S RIGHT No. 1: PROVISION

Malachi 3:10 says, “Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says The LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

First of all, The LORD said, “Prove Me.” The Good News Translation says, “Put me to the test and you will see….” He said that tithing opens the windows of heaven. The word windows in the Hebrew is translated floodgates. The tithe opens the floodgates and pours out such a huge BLESSING, it cannot be contained!

Supernatural increase and overflow is a result of being a tither. Proverbs 3:9-10 (AMPC) instructs us: “Honor The LORD with your capital and sufficiency [from righteous labors] and with the firstfruits of all your income; so shall your storage places be filled with plenty, and your vats shall be overflowing with new wine.”

TITHER’S RIGHT No. 2: PROTECTION

Malachi 3:11 says, “And I will rebuke the devourer [insects and plagues] for your sakes and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground, neither shall your vine drop its fruit before the time in the field, says The LORD of hosts.”

Rebuke means “to cripple, paralyze and completely stop.” Here is a great quote from Brother Copeland: “If you are in a financial situation that looks bad, come against satan according to this scripture. Use your privileges as a tither to combat and defeat him. Speak the Word of Faith and rebuke the devourer.” As a tither, you disable satan’s main goal which is to steal, kill and destroy.

The tithe is like an insurance policy that protects everything you own and do. The enemy can’t drain your finances. Give God what is His, and He will protect what is yours!

TITHER’S RIGHT No. 3: PROMOTION

Malachi 3:12 says, “And all nations shall call you happy and blessed, for you shall be a land of delight, says The LORD of hosts.” You will get the attention of nations around you. Your business will increase because more customers will be attracted to you. They will recognize the blessing on you and will desire to do business with you. Also, there is joy in tithing. “Nations shall call you happy and blessed.” Show me a tither, and I’ll show you a very happy individual.

“Father, we come to You as tithers. Thank You for all the benefits of tithing. We see that You receive our tithes and reinvest them for our benefit. We receive our tither’s rights today and take our stand on them. As a result, our needs are met, our lives are protected, and we are walking in continual promotion. In Jesus’ Name!”

The floodgates are open!
