“FAITH IS…How to Move a Mountain”

First John 5:4 (AMPC) says, “For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.”

This month, we are focusing on the development of our faith. The stronger our faith, the easier it becomes to overcome the issues that try to keep us back and hold us down. I so appreciate Brother Copeland’s upcoming faith seminar at EMIC. What a tremendous opportunity for all of us to revisit the basics and take our faith up to the next level. I highly encourage you to be there and to invite someone to attend with you.

Pastor Terri and I stand in faith, agreeing with you today for a massive harvest. We believe you are walking in the fullness of THE BLESSING. Deuteronomy 28:11 (AMPC) tells us, “The Lord shall make you have a surplus of prosperity.” You are BLESSED (empowered to prosper) going in, coming out and in everything you set your hand to. This is our year of GREAT ABUNDANCE! Say out loud, “I believe it and I take it by faith.”

Mark 11:24 says, “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” According to this scripture, faith is a very aggressive force. The word “receive” here means “to take it with much force; to seize it with a grip that cannot be shaken off.”

What God has so wonderfully provided us by His grace, we forcefully take it with our faith. I call this “Bulldog Faith.” Just like a bulldog, we are to bite down on the Word of God and not let go until it is ours. We aggressively take with our faith what rightfully belongs to us.

Look at this example in Joshua 18:1-3: “And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them. And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received [or taken] their inheritance. And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the Lord God of your fathers hath given you?

Verse 3 in the Message Translation reads, “How long are you going to sit around on your hands, putting off taking possession of the land that God, the God of your ancestors, has given you?” That land already belonged to them. All they had to do was take it. The word “take” there means “to claim as the rightful owner.”

Whatever we need already belongs to us right now. All we have to do is take it by faith—claim it as the rightful owner.

Look at these scriptures. Ephesians 1:3 (NIV-84) says, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has (already) blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” 2 Peter 1:3-4 (NIV-84) declares, “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has (already) given us his very great and precious promises…”

Brother Kenneth E. Hagin was experiencing a tough time financially in his first year of ministry. Adequate provision was scare. He was always behind until the Lord corrected his thinking and taught him how to aggressively believe for finances:

Step #1—Claim (take by faith) whatever you need.
Step #2—Say, “Satan, take your hands off my money.”
Step #3—Say, “Go, ministering spirits and cause the money to come to me NOW!”

“Father, we thank You for depositing Your faith into our hearts when we were born again. We realize that our faith must be developed to produce optimum results.

“We will not miss out on our opportunities this month to strengthen our faith through church services with Pastor Rick Renner on Wednesday, February 17, Brother Copeland’s seminar February 22-24, and Pastor Charles Green on Sunday, February 28. According to Romans 10:17, faith comes by hearing and by hearing the Word of God. We are going to the next faith level this month in Jesus Name.”

Faithfully Yours,
Pastor George
